Summer
The summers in the Außerfern always start a little later, because the winter usually lasts a little longer here due to the altitude. But once summer arrives, it also shines with pleasant temperatures (usually fine, not too hot), amazing distant views and balmy evenings (which can be spent perfectly on the balcony of the apartments).
Zu den beliebtesten Aktivitäten haben wir Euch ein paar Bilder, Videos (unten auf der Seite) und Infos zusammengetragen. Es gibt natürlich weit mehr zu erleben und erkunden – aber das seht Ihr bei Eurem Sommerurlaub im Silberleithen Estate noch selbst 😉
Die Sommer in der Zugspitz Arena sind ein Erlebnis. Durch das alpine Klima gedeiht eine einzigartige Flora und Fauna. Und das beste – ein Schritt aus der Haustüre und Ihr seit mittendrin. Oder schon auf dem Weg zum nächsten Trail, der nächsten Wanderung auf einen Gipfel, dem kühlenden Bad in einem der drei nahegelegenen Seen – und, und, und…
Und das war jetzt erst bei uns im Dorf 😉

What do you like?
Hiking
From the easy family hike to the Loisach springs (perfect on a hot summer day with children) to an early ascent to one of the peaks to tours with a fair amount of climbing (here we are happy to recommend a guide) – hikers will not be disappointed with us.
By the way, autumn here is an insider’s tip with colorful scenery and pleasant weather…
Biking
The bike trails of the Zugspitz Arena have received several awards.
Not for nothing – the routes vary in length and altitude – with challenging downhill routes to leisurely circular tours for the whole family.
You want to try an e-mountain bike? Just ask, we now have 4 in-house bikes (e.g. the one above in the picture)….
Water
Three of the lakes of the region are located in our local area – a short hike to the lakes with subsequent cooling down is simply a must during a summer vacation with us.
For ambitious water sports enthusiasts the lake Plansee is a hotspot for surfing.
For fisherman day passes are available for some waters. There is a fishing pond in the neighboring village.

Funsport
Bei der Susanne gibt’s Monsterroller und Mountaincarts zu leihen. Der Lift bringt Euch mit den Geräten dann zur Mittelstation oder ganz rauf auf den Marienberg. Von dort aus geht’s dann wieder ins Tal – wer möchte auch über die neue Rollerstrecke mit Downhill-Charakter 😉

You wouldn’t think it, but it’s also possible to be quiet and relaxed – just pack a picnic basket and explore nature. Completely decelerated, phone accidentally forgotten at home -simply enjoying nature in a relaxed way.
You have to try it. Best equipped with farmhouse bread, Kas, Landjägern and a sparkling lemonade….
